Simple exercise program aims to lift spirits and ease pain for nursing home seniors
NCT ID NCT07236424
Summary
This study tested whether a short, supervised program of group exercise, walking, and education could help elderly nursing home residents. Researchers worked with 44 participants to see if the 4-week program could reduce symptoms of depression and anxiety, improve their overall quality of life, and increase spinal mobility. The goal was to find a practical way to support both mental and physical well-being in this setting.
