Summary
This study tested whether a program combining exercise and education could help healthcare workers avoid repeat episodes of lower back pain. Over 350 hospital workers with a history of back pain took part, with some receiving the program and others usual care. The goal was to see if the program reduced sick leave and prevented chronic pain over two years.
