First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study tested whether a program combining exercise and education could help healthcare workers avoid repeat episodes of lower back pain. Over 350 workers with a history of back pain took part, and researchers tracked sick leave and pain for two years. The goal was to see if this approach reduces the chance of pain returning and becoming chronic.
