First seen Mar 11, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This study tests a 6-month exercise program for people with high-level spinal cord injury. Participants use a rowing machine that also electrically stimulates their leg muscles. Some will also receive a breathing support machine or a drug called Buspar to see if these help improve heart and lung fitness. The goal is to find better ways to prevent declines in health after injury.
