First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a program that combines structured exercises with extra daily physical activity can reduce disability and improve mental health in older adults with chronic low back pain. About 100 people aged 60 and older will be split into three groups: one doing both exercise and daily activity, one doing only exercise, and one getting usual care. Researchers will measure changes in disability, anxiety, depression, and sleep quality over 8 weeks, with a follow-up 8 weeks later.
