Scientists hunt clues to unlock mystery of Immunotherapy's dangerous side effects
NCT ID NCT05331066
Summary
This study aims to understand why some cancer patients develop serious side effects from immunotherapy drugs called checkpoint inhibitors. Researchers will follow 200 patients with solid tumors who are starting this treatment, collecting blood, stool, and sometimes skin samples over time. The goal is to find biological clues that might predict who is at risk for these side effects before they happen.
