Blood particles may warn of chemo nerve pain
NCT ID NCT07558447
First seen Apr 30, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026
Summary
This study is looking at whether tiny particles in the blood, called extracellular vesicles, can help predict nerve damage caused by chemotherapy. About 120 adults with certain cancers will give blood samples and answer questions before, during, and after treatment. The goal is to find a way to identify patients at higher risk for this side effect, so doctors can monitor and manage it better.
