New hope for leaky heart valves: no open-heart surgery needed

Summary
This study is testing a new device called the Edwards EVOQUE eos mitral valve replacement system. It is designed for people with a leaky mitral valve who are at high risk for open-heart surgery. The goal is to see if the device is safe and works well. About 123 participants will receive the valve through a thin tube (catheter) instead of open surgery.
