First seen Nov 18, 2025 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study tests a new method for placing spinal cord stimulator leads using electrical recordings (ECAP) to ensure the device targets the right nerves. Twenty adults with chronic lower back pain will receive the procedure, and researchers will measure pain relief using a standard pain scale. The goal is to see if this approach improves pain control and helps guide lead placement more accurately.
