Summary
This study looked at two different needle sizes (22-gauge and 19-gauge) used to take liver tissue samples during an endoscopic ultrasound. The goal was to see which needle gives better samples for diagnosing liver disease. 82 patients with unexplained high liver enzymes took part, and each patient had samples taken with both needles during the same procedure.
