First seen Dec 26, 2025 · Last updated Jun 15, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study looks at how the hormone estradiol affects blood vessel function in women going through perimenopause (the transition to menopause). Researchers will measure how well blood vessels widen and examine cells from veins. The goal is to understand why blood vessel health declines with age and how estradiol might help. The study involves 80 perimenopausal women aged 40-58.
