This study looked at whether a specific nerve block (erector spinae plane block) can lower pain after lower back surgery. 102 adults were randomly assigned to get the nerve block or standard pain treatment. The main goal was to see if the block reduced pain scores and the need for strong painkillers in the first 24 hours after surgery.
