Summary
This study aims to understand why infections happen after surgery for esophageal cancer and how they affect recovery. Researchers will look back at the medical records of 350 patients who had this surgery in France between 2017 and 2024. The goal is to identify risk factors for infections like pneumonia, which could lead to better prevention strategies and improve patient outcomes.
