Summary
This study tests whether giving a specific chemotherapy regimen (mFOLFOX6) before the usual chemoradiation and surgery can lower the chance of cancer returning in people with locally advanced esophageal cancer. The trial enrolled 40 adults with certain types of esophageal cancer who were healthy enough for treatment. The main goal is to see how many are cancer-free two years after treatment.
