Summary

This study tests whether giving a specific chemotherapy combination (mFOLFOX6) before the usual chemoradiation and surgery can help prevent esophageal cancer from coming back. About 40 adults with locally advanced esophageal cancer that can be surgically removed are participating. The main goal is to see if this approach improves the chance of being cancer-free two years after treatment.
