NCT ID NCT05468008
First seen Feb 02, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study is tracking how well a procedure called endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) works for removing abnormal growths in the esophagus and other parts of the digestive tract. Researchers will follow 1,000 adults who are already scheduled for this procedure as part of their standard care. The goal is to see how often the growth can be removed in one piece and with clean edges, helping doctors understand the best use of this technique in Western patients.
