First seen Feb 02, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 14 times
Summary
This study is observing how well a procedure called endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) works for removing abnormal growths in the esophagus and digestive tract. It will include 1,000 adults who are already scheduled for this procedure as part of their standard care. The goal is to see how often the growths are removed completely and safely, helping doctors understand the best use of ESD in Western patients.
