First seen Jan 03, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study tested a wearable EEG device that records brain waves to see if it can help doctors diagnose Alzheimer's disease and mild cognitive impairment more accurately. About 148 adults aged 50-90 with memory concerns wore the EEG cap during one session. Researchers compared the brain wave results with standard thinking and memory tests to see if the EEG could improve diagnostic confidence.
