First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study looked at 319 adults having an ERCP procedure to treat bile duct or pancreas problems. Researchers compared a standard reusable endoscope with one that has a single-use disposable cover to see if one caused fewer complications or worked better. The goal was to find out if the disposable cover version is safer or easier to use.
