First seen Apr 04, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a 30-minute horse therapy session, plus horse care activities, can lower stress and improve balance and independence in 60 school-age children with intellectual disabilities. Researchers will measure stress through heart rate, oxygen levels, and other body signals, as well as check balance and daily living skills. The goal is to see if interacting with horses can help these children feel calmer and more capable in everyday life.
