Summary
This study tested whether adding horses to memory workshops helps people with mild to moderate dementia. 36 older adults took part in either horse-assisted memory workshops, traditional memory workshops, or no extra activities for 8 weeks. Researchers measured changes in thinking, mood, and quality of life before and after the program.
