Summary
This pilot study tested whether adding horse therapy to memory workshops helps people with mild to moderate dementia. 36 older adults took part in either horse-assisted memory workshops, traditional memory workshops, or a control group. Researchers measured changes in thinking, mood, and quality of life after 8 weekly sessions.
