First seen May 18, 2026 · Last updated Jun 19, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study compared two versions of a standard health questionnaire (EQ-5D-3L and EQ-5D-5L) in nearly 7,000 people with inflammatory joint diseases like rheumatoid arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis. Participants completed both surveys during routine visits, and researchers checked which version better captured changes in health and disease activity. The goal was to improve how we measure quality of life in these patients.
