New remote monitoring program aims to help epilepsy patients stick to treatment

Summary

This study tests a new care pathway for people with epilepsy who are starting or switching anti-seizure medication. For six months, participants will be monitored remotely by a nurse to help detect side effects and seizure changes early. The goal is to improve medication adherence and quality of life until their next neurologist visit. The study involves 60 adults in France.
