First seen Mar 29, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study was designed to check if a new blood test can find hidden pancreatic cancer in people aged 50 and older who were recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. The test looks for cancer signals, and if positive, participants would get an MRI to confirm. The goal was to catch the cancer earlier, when it's easier to treat. However, the study was withdrawn before enrolling anyone.
