Scientists investigate chemical link to rising birth defect
NCT ID NCT04342026
Summary
This study aims to understand whether exposure to certain environmental chemicals might contribute to undescended testicles in boys. Researchers are recruiting parents of children with this condition to complete questionnaires about their jobs, diets, and potential chemical exposures. The goal is to identify possible environmental factors that could help explain why this common birth defect appears to be increasing in frequency.
