First seen Apr 30, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study tested a new device called Envi-SR to treat acute ischemic stroke, which happens when a blood clot blocks blood flow to the brain. The trial compared the Envi-SR to other approved devices in 12 adults who had a stroke and could be treated within 24 hours. The goal was to see if the new device helped patients recover better and with fewer complications.
