First seen Apr 30, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study tested a new device called Envi-SR for treating acute ischemic stroke, which happens when a blood clot blocks blood flow to the brain. The trial compared the Envi-SR to other FDA-cleared devices in 12 adults who had a stroke and could be treated within 24 hours. The goal was to see if the new device helps more people recover with little or no disability and causes fewer bleeding complications.
