Summary

This study looked at 113 adults with carpal tunnel syndrome to see if there is a difference in pain and hand function shortly after surgery. One group had endoscopic surgery (small incisions) and the other had open surgery (larger incision). Researchers measured pain and function using standard questionnaires and also tracked when patients returned to work.
