Summary
This study looked at tissue samples from 15 women with deep endometriosis to measure nerve and blood vessel growth around painful nodules. Researchers wanted to find out how far these changes spread into healthy-looking tissue, which could help surgeons know how much tissue to remove. The goal was to better understand the link between these tissue changes and pelvic pain scores.
