This study looked at tissue samples from 15 women with deep endometriosis to measure nerve and blood vessel growth around endometriosis nodules. Researchers wanted to see how far these changes spread into healthy-looking tissue and whether they relate to pain levels. The goal is to help surgeons know how much tissue to remove during surgery to reduce pain.
