New coaching program aims to help cancer patients avoid crises

Summary
This study tests a program called ENABLE-SG that coaches people with advanced cancer and their family caregivers on how to cope better and avoid emergencies. The program is delivered by phone or video and starts soon after diagnosis, before serious problems arise. About 715 patients and their caregivers in Singapore will take part to see if it improves quality of life.
