Summary
This study looked at whether electrical muscle stimulation (EMS) combined with stretching can reduce pain from myofascial pain syndrome (MPS) in working adults. 65 participants received several treatments in one visit, including EMS plus stretching and trigger point release. Researchers measured pain, pressure sensitivity, and muscle activity before and after treatment to see which approach worked best.
