Summary
This study tests two different drugs, empagliflozin and glimepiride, added to current diabetes treatment in 200 adults with type 2 diabetes. The goal is to see which combination better controls blood sugar without causing low blood sugar or weight gain. Participants will take their assigned drug for 24 weeks, and researchers will track safety and effectiveness.
