Summary
This study compares two diabetes drugs, empagliflozin and glimepiride, added to standard treatment in 200 adults with type 2 diabetes. The goal is to see which combination better controls blood sugar without causing low blood sugar or weight gain. Participants must be over 19 and already on diabetes pills.
