New counseling aims to ease emotional burden of COPD

Summary
This study tests a new 3-month counseling program for people with stable COPD. The program, led by a specialized nurse, focuses on reducing emotional distress related to the disease. Fifteen participants will receive 10 counseling sessions to see if this approach is feasible and helpful.
