First seen Mar 01, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This study looks at how the brain manages emotions when facing a threat. Researchers will record brain activity and use mild electrical stimulation in people with epilepsy who already have electrodes implanted for medical reasons. The goal is to understand brain connections involved in emotion, not to treat any condition. About 30 adults will take part.
