NCT ID NCT04923984
First seen Feb 01, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a procedure called middle meningeal artery (MMA) embolization can lower the chance that a subdural hematoma (a type of brain bleed) will come back. About 1000 people with this condition will be enrolled across Canada. The procedure aims to block the blood supply to the lining of the brain to prevent re-bleeding, either alone or after standard surgery.
