Summary
This study looked at whether a procedure called embolization (blocking blood vessels) before spine surgery for cancer that spread to the spine could reduce blood loss during the operation. It included adults aged 18-75 with certain spine tumors. The study was stopped early after only 4 people took part, so no clear conclusions can be drawn.
