New drug may boost blood cell recovery in kids with bone marrow failure

Summary

This study tests whether giving emapalumab early can help children with aplastic anemia recover their blood cell counts within six weeks. About 35 children with newly diagnosed severe aplastic anemia will receive the drug before standard treatments. The goal is to see if this approach improves the effectiveness of later therapies.
