Stem cell shot aims to ease arthritic knees

Summary
This study tests a single injection of stem cells (ELIXCYTE) into the knee joint to see if it reduces pain and improves function in people with knee osteoarthritis. About 165 adults aged 40 to 80 with moderate knee arthritis will receive either the stem cells or a placebo (salt water). The main goal is to measure pain changes using a standard knee questionnaire over several months.
