First seen Nov 21, 2025 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study tests whether a single injection of stem cells (ELIXCYTE) into the knee can reduce pain and improve function in people with knee osteoarthritis. About 165 adults aged 40 to 80 with moderate knee OA will receive either the stem cell shot or a placebo (salt water). Researchers will track pain, stiffness, and knee health using questionnaires and imaging over time.
