New laser device takes on glaucoma during cataract surgery

Summary
This study compares two devices used during cataract surgery to lower eye pressure in people with open-angle glaucoma. About 194 adults aged 40 and older will be randomly assigned to receive either the ELIOS device or a competitor device alongside their cataract surgery. The main goal is to see which device better reduces eye pressure one year after surgery.
