Summary
This study tests whether different electronic acupuncture waveforms can improve facial nerve function in adults with Bell's palsy who are in the recovery stage. One hundred participants will receive either low-frequency continuous or intermittent wave acupuncture every other day for four weeks. Researchers will measure facial function and safety at regular visits to find the best waveform for different injury levels.
