Zapping away bladder leaks: new study tests two electrical stimulation methods
NCT ID NCT07366918
Summary
This study aims to find out if electrical stimulation applied inside the vagina or to the perineal area is more effective at reducing incontinence episodes in women with overactive bladder. Sixty-three participants will be randomly assigned to receive one of these stimulation methods plus bladder training, or bladder training alone. Researchers will measure changes in leak frequency, symptom severity, and quality of life over an 8-week treatment period.
