Cast or knife? study tests best fix for elderly elbow breaks

Summary

This study looks at the best way to treat a specific type of broken elbow in people over 65 who are not very active. Half of the 84 participants will have surgery, and the other half will be treated with a cast or sling. The goal is to see which method leads to better pain relief, arm function, and quality of life.
