Sex before surgery? new trial tests if ejaculation helps prostate cancer operation

Summary
This study looks at whether having an orgasm within 36 hours before prostate cancer surgery makes the seminal vesicles smaller and easier for the surgeon to remove. Forty men scheduled for prostate removal will be randomly assigned to either ejaculate or abstain for at least 72 hours before their operation. The results could help surgeons plan better and possibly reduce surgery time.
