First seen May 06, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study looked at how eating egg whites, egg yolks, or whole eggs every day for four weeks changes HDL (good cholesterol) and immune cell profiles in younger (18-30) and older (50-75) adults. 44 healthy men and women participated, following a healthy diet and providing blood samples. The goal was to see if different egg components affect heart and immune health differently depending on age.
