Immune drug combo aims to wipe out breast tumors before surgery

NCT ID NCT07102940

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study tests whether adding an immune-boosting drug called eftilagimod alpha to standard chemotherapy can make breast tumors disappear completely before surgery in people with early-stage HR+/HER2- breast cancer. About 50 participants will receive the drug combination, and researchers will check the removed tumor tissue for any remaining cancer cells. The goal is to see if this approach works better than chemotherapy alone.
