First seen Mar 24, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This pilot study tests whether a brief educational session about safe exercise during pregnancy can improve women's knowledge, confidence, and physical activity levels. Thirty pregnant women with low-risk pregnancies will be randomly assigned to receive either standard prenatal care or standard care plus a structured lesson on therapeutic exercise. Questionnaires will be completed before and two weeks after the session to measure changes. No exercise is required, and usual medical care remains unchanged.
