First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study tested whether a structured education program, called the 'Critical Limb Ischemia School,' helps patients with severe leg artery disease. The program teaches about the condition, lifestyle changes like quitting smoking and exercise, and when to seek help. Researchers compared 184 patients who received the education to those getting standard care, tracking hospital visits, quality of life, and pain over 12 months.
